Baccalaureate Degree Plans (BDPs) will provide coursework information for North Carolina community college students who intend to complete an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree prior to transferring.

Baccalaureate Degree Plans are currently being developed for all majors at Appalachian.  These guides are designed to assist transfer students with choosing appropriate coursework to meet both general education and major requirements.

All BDPs are meant to be an example of how a degree could be completed in four years.  Individual degree plans will be developed for each student in consultation with an academic advisor.  Prior credit, course availability, and student needs will be taken into consideration with developing individual guides.

If the BDP or Transfer Four Year Guide for your major is not available or you are an out-of-state student, please refer to the "general" Appalachian four-year guides and use the Course Equivalency Search to determine the equivalent credit at your university or college.

Please utilize the links above or the tabs at the top of the page to find desired major and Guide.

Transfer Four Year Guides are beneficial to students intending to transfer without an Associate's degree.

PLEASE NOTE:  We will not be updating the Transfer Four-Year Guides past the 16-17 academic year and encourage all NC community college students and advisors to utilize the Baccalaureate Degree Plans, above.
